It would be a big mistake not to mention McCloud Mountain Restaurant. Opened in 2010 by Paul Fields as a way to share the unique and wonderful views of Powell Valley, and the Smoky Mountains. McCloud Mountain Restaurant specializes in steaks, BBQ dishes from deck smokers, and desserts. Their view is the daily special. You can come here on all days of the week except for Monday, in the time frame 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM. They do require reservations as they are off the beaten path and at the top of the Cumberland Mountains above La Follette Tennessee.
